What an alert is actually claiming

One thing: when it was sent, a sportsbook was offering more for that bet than DawBets thinks the bet is worth. That gap is expected value, or EV — a percentage of your stake. A bet reading +8.0% EV is priced about 8% above the fair price DawBets works out by stripping the margin out of the sharpest books’ lines. It is a statement about the price, never a prediction about who wins.

Alerts are deliberately not a mirror of the bet feed. The feed is where you browse everything that qualifies; a push is for a price that just appeared and probably will not last.

What has to be true before one is sent

The alert job runs on a short loop in the background. On each pass, all of this has to hold before a bet reaches your Lock Screen:

• ●You are on Plus or Pro. Free accounts are never sent bet alerts, however their switches are set. An active trial counts as entitled.
• ●Three switches are on — the iOS notification permission, your account’s master Notifications switch, and Bet alerts. They are separate; granting the OS prompt alone delivers nothing.
• ●The price just moved. Only bets whose price changed in the last few minutes qualify. A standing +EV bet that has sat on the board unchanged never alerts, however good it is.
• ●The edge clears your minimum. New accounts start at the Must Bet line. Below a small fixed floor nothing is fetched at all, and above a ceiling an edge is treated as a stale or suspended price rather than a gift.
• ●The game has not started. Bet alerts are pre-game only. Live and in-play prices are excluded before anything is considered.
• ●It clears your own rules, and you have not already been alerted about that exact bet.

Why you only get one at a time

Each pass sends at most one bet alert: the highest-EV bet that cleared your rules, named in full, with the others counted on the last line as · 3 more. No setting raises that. The rest are not queued for later — they are on the feed already.

When the same selection is priced at several books, those rows collapse into a single alert naming the book paying the most for it, so one bet never arrives four times. Once you have been alerted about a bet, it will not alert you again; that memory is pruned after a couple of days.

The rules you control

• ●Alert me about — Every Must Bet (every Must Bet on your favorite sportsbooks — the ones in My sportsbooks — with no other filter) or Only bets matching my filters, which opens the Filters section below it.
• ●Badge — the first row under Filters: the lowest badge that wakes your phone, Must Bet or Strong Bet (what each badge means). New accounts start at Must Bet, so choosing Strong Bet is what widens the net. The server fetches edges well below the Strong Bet line, so a lower minimum can be set from the AI assistant connector; only a Strong Bet or better arrives as a time-sensitive alert — anything weaker arrives quietly and never breaks through a Focus mode.
• ●Daily alert cap — the most bet alerts you will get in one day. Once it is spent, alerts stop until the count resets the next day. Settlement notifications do not count against it. The last few slots are held for Must Bets, so a strong morning cannot crowd out the best bet of the evening.
• ●Filters — Sportsbooks and Leagues are rows beside the badge; More filters holds Markets, Teams and the Odds range. Sportsbooks and Teams follow your My sportsbooks and My teams lists until you choose Any or tick your own. Leagues and Markets are Any until you tick some. The odds range is American odds, blank for no limit; saved back to front, DawBets ignores it rather than silencing every alert.

Reading the alert

Every bet alert is the same three lines, in the order you need them:

1. The bet itself, complete — Under 10.5 Total Runs.
2. The matchup and kickoff, rendered in your timezone, not the server’s.
3. The price and the book — −105 at BetRivers — then the badge and the edge as a percentage, plus · N more when other bets qualified.

Tapping it hands you to the book holding that price; with no link for that specific bet you land on the bet card in DawBets instead. Long-press for Open Sportsbook, View in DawBets and Track This Bet.
