Quiet hours and daily alert limits

Set a quiet-hours window

Quiet hours live in the iPhone app under Settings → Alerts → Notifications. Every plan can use them — this is not a paid setting. If you use the AI assistant connector, you can also ask your assistant to set or clear the window, and it confirms the times with you before saving.

   Open Settings → Alerts → Notifications

   The Quiet hours section sits below the master Notifications switch. It appears once you have answered the iOS permission prompt, whichever way you answered.

   Turn on Quiet hours

   Start and End pickers appear underneath it. Turning the toggle off clears the saved window; turning it back on restores the times you last used, or 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM if the app has been relaunched since.

   Pick a Start and an End

   A window that crosses midnight is read as one overnight block, so 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM works exactly as you would expect. Setting Start and End to the same time is treated as no window at all.

What quiet hours actually silence

The two kinds of notification are treated differently on purpose, and this is the part people are surprised by:

A bet alert is perishable: it fires on a price that has just moved, and by breakfast that price is usually gone. Delivering it seven hours late would send you chasing a line that no longer exists. A settled bet is permanently true, so it is worth keeping. See How bet alerts are chosen for what makes one fire at all.

The morning roundup

Once your window ends, everything that settled overnight arrives as one notification within a few minutes — the count, your net result, the won-lost record behind it, and the biggest result named. If exactly one bet settled you get that single result instead. Settlement notifications reads both formats line by line.

Tapping either opens My Bets with the overnight bets surfaced, listed individually. The held roundup is not guaranteed: your plan and switches are re-checked when the queue is flushed, so a subscription that lapsed overnight, or Settlement notifications turned off before the window ended, means it is dropped rather than sent.

The daily alert cap

The cap is under Settings → Alerts → Bet alerts → Bet alert rules, in the Daily cap section, on the Daily alert cap row. It starts at 15 and can be set anywhere from 1 to 50. It counts bet alerts only, per calendar day, and once you hit it nothing more arrives until the day rolls over.

These never charge against it: settlement notifications and morning roundups, the trial-ending reminder, and the Send test notification button. Neither does an alert that was skipped for quiet hours.

Getting fewer interruptions without losing the good bets

Move your badge to Must Bet on the Bet alert rules screen before you lower the cap. The two look interchangeable and are not: the cap is spent first-come, first-served, so a low one is used up by whatever qualified earliest and silences the rest of the day regardless of quality. A stricter badge keeps the day open and raises the bar every alert must clear, and the last few slots are held for Must Bets either way. The same screen narrows which sportsbooks, leagues, markets, teams and odds qualify.

One more reason the cap is rarely the problem: each alert run sends at most one bet alert — the strongest bet — with any others counted as · N more on the last line. Nobody gets a burst of twelve.

Turning everything off for a while

The Notifications switch on Settings → Alerts → Notifications is the account-level master. With it off, nothing reaches any of your devices — no bet alerts, no settlements, no trial reminder — and your rules, filters and quiet hours stay saved for when you turn it back on.
